Sequel

Many of you were asking about a movie or sequel to The Man Who Loved Clowns. Sadly, there isn't a movie that I know of, but there is a sequel. Turtle on a Fence Post is about Delrita's life after the loss of Punky and her parents. Will she be able to get along with Aunt Queenie and Uncle Bert without Punky there to help her? Read the sequel to find out.

Man Who Loved Clowns

We have finally finished, The Man Who Loved Clowns. I really enjoyed reading it to the students because we had great discussion with it. I feel as if I pick something up from it everytime I read it. I hope they learned many lessons from the book such as...

1. A person may have special needs but they also can be independant and teach typical people life lessons.

2. We shouldn't judge someone because we may not fully understand them.

3. Life is much better with the love of family and friends.

Your child can elaborate on these lessons.
